About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and patient Math Tutor to teach virtual Algebra classes for students in grades 4–7. The ideal candidate should be comfortable teaching online, engaging young learners, and explaining mathematical concepts in a simple, interactive way.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live virtual Algebra classes for students in grades 4–7
- Explain concepts clearly using age-appropriate examples
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and practice problems
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback
- Encourage participation and build confidence in math
- Communicate with parents or coordinators when required
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Algebra and foundational math concepts
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring grades 4–7 (preferred)
- Comfortable using virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly teaching approach
- Reliable internet connection and availability during scheduled class times
Nice to Have
- Experience with the US education system or curriculum
- Teaching certification or relevant academic background
- Experience with interactive teaching methods or digital tools
