For young actors with experience ready to take on a Shakespearean challenge, this class offers a thrilling opportunity to create and perform their own adaptation of Macbeth. Students will embark on a creative journey, delving into the dark and mysterious world of "The Scottish Play." In the first half of the class, they'll work as an ensemble to reimagine the iconic scenes and characters, collaboratively devising a 20-30-minute adaptation that brings their unique vision of Macbeth to life. During the second half, they'll dive deeper into their roles, exploring the powerful themes, intense emotions, and intricate language of Shakespeare's work as they rehearse for their final performance. Join us for this empowering class where young actors become both the architects and performers of their very own Macbeth! As this is a performance-based class, attendance is crucial. Please ensure your child is available for the dates listed above prior to registration.
