Our 1-5 day workshops immerse our art students in the creative process while on vacation breaks or weekends, allowing them to explore various art techniques and mediums. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in the visual arts and want to give it a try, or for experienced students who are looking to take a deep dive into a project for a single day, 2 to 3 days, or an entire week. Tuition Includes: Blick Bristol Board paper (size to be selected by student), Liquitex Brand Acrylic paints, a variety of water-soluble Oil Paints, Van Gogh Brand Watercolor, 48-color design markers, the best quality Princeton Round, Spotter, Line and Angular Blender paint brushes. Campers enjoy scheduled snack and lunch breaks. At 2:00 pm, there's an optional recess at Rochambeau Park, unless a child prefers to continue painting indoors. If your child wishes to paint on another surface, such as an unpainted wooden skateboard, ukulele, or wooden box please ensure you purchase the surface before the student's start date. Your child should bring the surface to the first day of class. Please note that canvases larger than 11 by 14 inches are not permitted. It is important to order only unpainted wooden surfaces.
