Overview

At Hamlin Robinson School, student life extends far beyond the classroom, offering opportunities that nurture curiosity, creativity, and connection. For students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences, activities outside of academics are especially important. They provide spaces to explore strengths, build confidence, and practice collaboration in new ways. Through arts, clubs, and enrichment programs, HRS students discover talents, form lasting friendships, and experience the joy of learning in diverse settings. They also provide opportunities for parents who need care beyond the school day hours.

Programs take place at a variety of times:

• After-school care is available between 2:55pm - 6:00pm. This is available for lower or middle school students.
• Clubs and Activities meet after school as well until 4:25pm. Students can then move into after-school care, if needed.
• Day On is our program on many non-school days providing themed days of activities.

Yes! HRS offers after care in addition to a variety of after-school activities. Options change quarterly and have included:

• LEGO Robotics
• Drawing
• Cross Country
• Chess Club
• Martial Arts
• Track and Field

Each full school day, HRS offers Extended Day after-school care from 2:55pm - 6:00pm. HRS Program Aides oversee the program. Registration and fee information is available on myHRS.

Students enrolled in Music Academy are automatically enrolled in aftercare on lesson days.

After Care is available to students attending camps on a weekly basis, ending at 5:30pm. If you wish to add After Care to your HRS Summer Academy experience, please register here.

Any students not picked up by 4:15pm will be automatically enrolled in After Care and charged the daily rate.

Parents are permitted to park in loading zones at this time and should enter the Lower School front entrance on 20th Ave S. to sign out their student. Late fees will be assessed, per the student enrollment agreement.
