Running in conjunction with AISD's school year calendar, spilled milk social club operates as a play-based after-school program whose mission is to promote confidence, independence, and higher level thinking skills through the integration of creative play and unique activities. Because they have been in a very structured school environment all day, we offer children a variety of opportunities for choice and free-play, which we know are crucial for healthy development. smsc offers pick-up from Lee, Mathews and Maplewood Elementary Schools. Preference for enrollment is given to families whose children attend these three schools. If your child attends a different school and you are interested in providing your own transportation to our facility each day, please email us: [email protected] Students arrive between 3:05 and 3:45 to the facility (depending on which school they attend). At this time, they get settled in, are offered a snack, start working on their homework (if this is something their family wants), and find an activity to begin. From 3:45 until 6 pm, when the program closes for the day, students can work individually and in groups on creative products, play outside on the premises, and/or have free time at our facility, located at 3804 Cherrywood Road.
