Looking for an excellent program to empower your children? Look no further than Empowering Youth & Families Outreach After School Program! Our goal is to empower students to become their own best advocates and take control of their learning and future. We achieve this by identifying and building positive character traits, developing resiliency, and increasing self-efficacy.

EYFO's after-school program provides academic tutoring for students. It also includes a variety of activities for students, including daily check-ins with youth, character-building discussions, academic skill building, homework help, group games, engagement in STEM projects, art activities, and more while building healthy friendships with their peers and relationships with staff.

Empowering Youth and Families Outreach provides year-round school programming.

• EYFO offers part-time, full-time, and school break programming options.
• We provide programming on early release days, in-service days, and several school holidays.

Related Programs & FAQs

During the summer months, EYFO operates our Summer Leadership Institute, which emphasizes academics, character-building, and enrichment activities. This program operates from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with before- and after-care options.

Yes! We offer additional all day programming during Winter, mid Winter and Spring Breaks. We also offer an 8-week Summer Literacy Program. All programs are offered at additional costs.

Transportation: We provide limited transportation. We pick up from the following schools Southshore K-8 and Dunlap Elementary School.
