Overview

Art of Music Piano Studio offers private, individualized piano lessons in the Herndon/Reston area of Northern Virginia, taught by Ms. Valentina Bransburg — a Russian-born concert pianist and Master's degree holder in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. Her instruction draws from a 200-year-old European musical tradition and is tailored to each student's age, skill level, and potential. Students are exposed to a broad musical literature spanning classical and traditional repertoire, with instruction covering technical skill development, artistic sensitivity, and deep musical understanding. The studio accepts students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.

Additional Information

Lessons are conducted weekly, 11 out of 12 months per year, with a one-month summer break accommodated per student's schedule. Missed summer lessons may be made up during September and October at the teacher's discretion. The studio requires 24-hour advance notice for lesson cancellations, and a three-week notice is required before leaving the studio. Students are expected to practice 6 days per week. Sheet music and instructional materials are generally provided by the teacher, with occasional purchases required for specific books. Lessons are not held on Thanksgiving Day or December 24 through January 1.
