Here, campers are 110% taken care of. Our Beansprouts staff members are not only friendly, compassionate people, they are talented mentors who instruct and inspire. At Beansprouts, campers are destined to make incredible friends, joining a warm, inclusive community in the heart of Park Slope to make memories to be cherished for life. Campers will have lifelong summer memories of outdoor sports, indoor games, weekly visits from the ice cream truck, and lasting Beansprouts friendships. Beansprouts provides everything campers and parents need to feel right at home, offering an amazing summer experience filled with enthusiasm, kindness, passion and diversity. • Our campers range from 2 years through 5th grade.
• Upper Camp: 1st - 5th Grade
• Inter Camp: Entering Kindergarten (2021 Births)
• Lower Camp: Children Born in 2022 & 2023
• Intro Camp: For Children born in 2024
• L.I.T Program: 7th Grade (First Year)

Program Highlights

• Weekly Private Swim: Our swim program, led by our Aquatics Director, helps every child feel comfortable, confident, and safe in the water. Inter Campers have private swim once a week, and Upper Campers enjoy swim twice a week.
• Camp Traditions: From special themed weeks, to parties, to our camp wide Olympics, traditions at Beansprouts are what our campers talk about all year round.
• Camp Family: Beansprouts is a place where friends become family. With such an age range, there's also the opportunity to have our actual family at camp too! Nothing quite like rooting for a big brother or sister during the camp Olympics!
• Unrivaled Facilities: Our award-winning private outdoor space provides time for running through the sprinklers, exploring nature, water table play, and riding tricycles and cars. Campers also have their own fully stocked, air-conditioned classrooms where they get to build with blocks, engage in dramatic play, think scientifically, explore clay, and make new friends.
• Camp Athletics: Our skilled coaches instruct campers in weekly soccer, as well as a diverse range of sports, at any level. Teamwork and sportsmanship are always at the forefront.
• Ice Cream Truck: Every Friday, we cool down in the big yard with our very own ice cream truck. Campers face the challenging decision of whether or not to add rainbow or chocolate sprinkles to their cone. It's a camp favorite that we all look forward to!
• We've Got Talent: One of the most exciting activities at camp is our weekly talent show. Show off your latest gymnastics routine, sing a song with friends, or tell us a few of your favorite jokes!
• Field Trips (Upper Camp): The program for children entering K-5th Grade includes weekly trips around the city - from Urban Air, to the Bronx Zoo, Luna Park, and more!
• Creative Movement (Lower/Intro Camp): Each week, campers enjoy many modes of creative expression including yoga, parachute play, ribbon dancing, and obstacle courses. Movement activities are paired with an array of music including jazz, rock, and classical.
• Gardening (Lower/Intro Camp): Children get to feel and experiment with soil, seeds, and plants. They sow, then harvest their own herbs, veggies, and fruits, and get to taste and cook with their harvested bounty.
• Outdoor Messy Art (Inter/Lower/Intro Camp): Campers take advantage of our outdoor art studio for immersive art explorations, including rainbow bubble painting, giant marble roll bonanza, dynamic spray bottle exploration, and painting on plexiglass.

Staff

Beansprouts employs graduating high school students and college students, as well as working professionals – teachers, coaches, and specialists in art, music and more.

• 2 Days a Week (TuTh) (Lower Camp):

  • 1 Session: $995; 2 Sessions: $1,800; All 3 Sessions: $2,500*

Registration Information

• A non-refundable $150 registration fee and a non-refundable $750 deposit are required upon submitting your application.
• Acceptable forms of payment: Credit card or Check.
• Full payment is due by May 1st, 2026.
• There will be no camp on June 19th and July 4th, 2026. Tuition for week one and week three will be prorated.
• Camp includes all field trips, soccer classes, weekly instructional swim, and Friday ice cream parties with the Mr. Softee ice cream truck. You can choose any weeks of summer camp (minimum of 2), whether they are consecutive or not, at no extra cost.

Discounts

• Sibling Discount: We offer a 10% sibling discount for the first sibling and 15% for the second.
• Holiday Discounts:
  • If enrolling for 2-8 weeks, the Holiday Discount will be subtracted from the final invoice for 6/19 and/or 7/4 if selecting week 1 and/or week 3.
  • If enrolling for 9 Weeks, the tuition includes one Holiday Discount and the second Holiday Discount will be subtracted from the final invoice for 6/19 or 7/4 if selecting week 1 or week 3.
  • If enrolling for 10 Weeks, the tuition automatically includes 2 Holiday Discounts. No manual discounts will be applied.

• Early Bird Hours (8:00 am - 8:30 am):

• After Camp Hours:
  • 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm for Pre-K and 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm for School Age.
  • 3:00pm - 6:00pm for Lower Camp and 3:30pm - 6:00pm for Upper Camp.
