Experience the adventure of YMCA Central Texas's Outdoor Day Camp! Enjoy nature, outdoor activities, and team-building in our summer day camp program. Campers are assigned to Units by grade level they will be entering. Mutual buddy requests, within grade level, from campers are honored whenever possible. If two campers are not in the same unit; the older camper will always be placed with the younger camper's group. Campers are not able to request specific counselors. Camp hours are 7am-6pm, drop-0ff is from 7-9am, and pick-up is from 4:30-6pm. You can enhance your campers' experience by adding on lunch and swimming lessons. Summer Camp at Camp Brazos at Greater Waco – Week 8. Day Camp at Camp Brazos operates out of the Greater Waco YMCA. Our Day Camp is jam packed with activities that range from our Rock Wall, archery, outdoor sports, and swimming as well as spending a bit of time inside with arts/crafts and STEAM projects. These activities are focused on developing social skills, developing teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in a safe environment. Our Camp Brazos Counselors have a camper-first mindset and are dedicated to providing the best summer ever! This camp is licensed under the Texas Health Department and is not able to accept CCS. Super Camp add-ons like Camp Cooking, Mad Science, Sports, Adventure Trails are available. General activities include: 9 Square in the Air, Aqua Park, Archery, Arts and Crafts, Canoeing, Fishing, Free Play, Gaga Ball, Gellyball, Giant Swing, Hiking, Kayaking, Lake Swimming, Low Ropes Course, Outdoor Education, Pool Swimming, Rock Climbing, Sports, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Tango Tower, Theme Day Special Events, Tree-house Time, Urban Farming, Wet Willie Water Slide, Zipline.
