Campers ages 6-12 are split into four color groups and activities are offered to specific age groups so that campers are in activities with peers their own age and are participating in age appropriate activities. The day is split into 4 periods plus lunch, in which the campers have the freedom to choose, with certain parameters and assistance, from an array of activities being offered for their age group. We begin our day in a group setting, with all of our campers gathered underneath our covered pavilion area. During this time, we either sing a camp song as a group or campers listen to a story from one of our counselors. We then announce the activities being offered for specific color groups for that period. Each age group is offered a variety of activities throughout the day such as art, recreation, music, gardening, dance and theater.
