The Camp Nageela Experience is comprised of a wealth of activities and specialty programming designed to cater to the interests of each individual camper. The daily schedule is packed with excitement, fun and adventure while giving our campers the opportunities to develop skills and build friendships. Besides our regular schedule and typical programs, here are some of the 'extra's that you might want to know about! Towards the end of each camp session, the entire camp is divided into 2 teams for a fun-filled, action-packed, two-day Color War, including creative plays, sports, songs, and WaCKy races. Camp Nageela also offers unique and memorable trips to destinations like theme parks, state parks, professional baseball/soccer games, skating, and bowling. A much anticipated annual event is the Campout, where campers enjoy bonfires, cookouts, games, and stories, with the experience becoming a more intense and rich experience as campers advance through different divisions. Once a week, campers and staff gather around the Tree of Values where one camper is nominated for each of the 3 Nageela values: Adventure, Discovery, and Friendship, with stories and lessons shared. Camp Nageela Midwest is also known for its unique summer theme, reflected in the logo and camp shirts, with many special days and programs connected to it. Every night, campers are treated to exciting and innovative night activities, including theme-based activities, Nageela's Got Talent, Bonfires, and Chinese Lanterns.
