The Capital Cycle Camp is a summer camp with daily activities designed around biking in Washington, D.C. We start from Capital Hill every morning and ride to great destinations daily. Its great experiencing the ride to the Zoo, Bladensburg Waterfront Park, local park, pools, gardens, Roosevelt Island, and other sites the most important thing is just having fun!!! City or not, the summer is a time to get outdoors. We believe in staying active and at Capital Cycle Camp we make sure your kids do too. Last summer Cyclers rode on average 50 miles a week. We leave no Cyclers behind. Each Cycler is encouraged to go at their own pace. Social-Emotional well-being is emphasized daily and discussed during our morning meetings. Riders are supported daily through challenges and build confidence with every mile. With biking, safety is a must. We make sure everyone learns to ride as a team and sticks together for a safe and active week on bikes. We consistently go over Safety, Safety, and Safety. We also teach basic bike maintenance and care.
