Let's get 3-D! Students gain a solid introduction to various building concepts. Ceramics/Sculpture Camps focus on understanding spacial awareness through form, proportion and design. We explore the subtractive method with oil base clay and the additive method using papier-mâché, wire and other materials. Students are given the creative freedom to design and construct architectural structures, figurines, animals, instruments, masks, totems, furniture, mobiles, and other objects. While learning about height, width and depth, students fill the art studio with imaginative creatures and projects.
