CircEsteem Summer Circus Camp is a fun, safe, supportive environment where children explore the many skills that create the Circus Arts. Camp allows each child to develop confidence, self-esteem, self-regulation, collaboration, physical awareness, and an understanding of the potential they possess. Circus skills taught each week may vary based on teaching artist staff, but usually include aerial silks, trapeze, lyra, tightwire, gym wheel, mini trampoline, tumbling, partner acrobatics, clowning, rola bola, diabolo, stilts, juggling and more, with a different theme each week! Each day includes time built in for games, camp songs, and arts & crafts. We aim to go outside after lunch a couple of days per week, as weather permits. Students enrolled will get to share their excitement and newfound skills with family and friends at the end of the week in a Show Off performance. Kids don't have to run away to join the circus!
