Overview

The Russell School of Ballet has been serving the metropolitan area for over 40 years. Classical Ballet classes are part of the school's technique‑based ballet training for all ages. Students receive instruction in Classical Ballet, Pointe and Variations, learning proper alignment, strength, and artistry under teachers who have performed with renowned companies such as New York City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Basel Ballet, Louisville Ballet, and Monte Carlo Ballet. Dancers trained at the Russell School of Ballet have also earned scholarships to the School of American Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and several universities. One of the most remarkable parts of the love of dance at RSB is the yearly productions, including The Nutcracker and seasonal revues, where students showcase their skills and passion.

Additional Information

Classes take place in three professionally equipped, air‑conditioned studios featuring suspended wooden floors, wall‑length mirrors, barres, and live piano accompaniment. Women's and men's shower facilities are available on location. The studio is easily accessible for parents and students and is located at 14119 Sullyfield Circle, Chantilly, VA 20151.
