This class is designed to allow older kids with or without experience explore clay at their own pace. The instructor will provide guidance with sculpture, coil, slab and pinch techniques. Handbuilding is the method of manipulating clay using ones hands and hand held tools. Children will use slab, coil and pinch techniques to create and paint ceramic projects. Basic project shapes are predetermined for each class of the session. All classes are drop off classes. Completed pieces will be ready for pick up in approximately 3 weeks.
