Event highlights include:

• See how clinicians from Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare use technology to customize patient care, creating personalized prosthetics and orthotics.
• Try a biome-matching activity with the University of Minnesota CBS Conservatory and Botanical Collection.
• Learn about how plants are used to make medicine – and poison – with the Northland Regional Chapter of the Society of Toxicology (NLSOT)
• Meet innovative female scientists from H.B. Fuller
• Try VR, digital pixel art, an encryption machine, and more computer science activities with Girls Dream Code.
• Shop a selection of books supporting Women's History Month from local bookstore The Thinking Spot.

This event is recommended for ages 5-14, plus friends and family. Discovery Day access and activities are included with the cost of museum admission.

All women, especially women of color, trans women, and women with disabilities, continue to be underrepresented in STEM fields. Our annual Women in Science event seeks to inspire all young people to see themselves as capable innovators through activities and interactions with real-life creators, scientists, engineers, and more.
