About This Camp

Overview

We often hear about the "terrible twos", Maybe two-year-olds got that reputation because they get around very fast and insist on doing things their own way. They get upset easily and do not want to change their minds once they start to do something. Our program focuses on developing socialization skills, it is designed to meet the developmental and academic needs of this age group.

The program includes group time, story time, outdoor play, meals and snacks , naps, and most especially, lots of playtime.

Additional Information

Blending Montessori, Reggio, STEM Education, and creative learning, Grandma's Preschool nurtures and educates toddlers and preschoolers, offering personalized learning plans that target specific developmental areas. Our program emphasizes the importance of play, nature, and hands-on learning materials.

At Grandma's Daycare and Preschool we integrate language-based preschool classrooms, which includes developing children as well as children with disabilities. Our program is based on a developmentally appropriate, child-centered approach that values individuality, social interaction, and experimental learning. We offer a year-round learning program for Infants to Pre-K with a highly trained, caring staff. We believe Parent interaction is important for a child's development, parents are encouraged to participate in activities that are planned to reinforce communication and social skills. The personal, social, and behavioral competence of young children is a strong predictor of academic performance in the early grades and contributes to the development of executive functions.

Grandma's Daycare & Preschool philosophy is based on the belief that children learn best in an early childhood program that provides developmentally appropriate educational experiences in an integrated setting. Our early childhood program is designed to provide a stimulating learning environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of every child.
