Educational Connections is a personalized tutoring, executive function coaching, and college consulting service with nearly 30 years of experience serving students from elementary school through college. Founded by Ann Dolin, the program specializes in ADHD, neurodiverse learners, and students who are bright but struggling to reach their potential. Rather than focusing solely on grades, Educational Connections builds lifelong skills — time management, organization, focus, task initiation, planning, and self-advocacy — through research-backed, highly personalized sessions. Every student is carefully matched with a screened, experienced educator, and parents receive regular progress updates. All sessions are delivered virtually and one-on-one using an interactive online platform called LessonSpace.

Services offered include subject tutoring across all grade levels and subjects, executive function coaching for elementary through college students, test preparation for the SAT, ACT, and SSAT, and college consulting including application guidance and essay support.

Pricing is structured as follows: elementary tutoring starts at $80 per hour, high school tutoring and Wilson Reading tutoring is $90 per hour, and test prep pricing varies by package. Flexible multi-session plans are available for families needing ongoing support across multiple subjects or students.

All tutors are rigorously selected — only 5% of applicants are hired — and 75% hold Master's degrees, with 80% being current or former teachers. The program serves students across the Washington DC metro area and nationwide.
