About This Camp

Overview

Each session, campers have a chance to "dive deep" into two activities via our electives program. Electives are activity periods in which campers participate for three consecutive days. For example, a camper may choose to participate in a tennis elective for three days. By doing so, campers have an opportunity to get hands-on, in-depth instruction from our tennis Activity Counselors over several days. As a result, by receiving deeper, individualized instruction, campers improve current skills and gain new skills. Camp Canopy offers a wide variety of electives to ensure that every camper gets to participate in an activity they love. All camp activities are co-ed and separated by age group except for elective blocks which are comprised of boys and girls from all age groups.

Additional Information

Electives are activity periods that allow campers to focus on a single activity over three days and develop their skill set in that area. As a team member, you will either teach or assist in teaching an elective. All camp activities are co-ed and separated by age group except for electives which are comprised of boys and girls from all age groups.
