We start each day with announcements and jokes, stories, skits, games, or challenges. Campers then join their group (they are divided by both age and experience) and go to their first class (magic, juggling, or puppets). Once or twice a week, we have special theme days. On each of those days, campers, counselors, and staff are encouraged to dress up appropriately. The first class is followed by snack time. Campers will eat snacks they brought from home while they play board games, share magic tricks, or just run around and drive the staff crazy. With food in their bellies and a good morning workout, the campers are now ready for more classes. After two more classes, campers have an hour for lunch, which is also brought from home, and games (board games, group games, and free playtime). After lunch, we will either have a theme-day specific group activity or campers will get to choose from several different classes during our bonus class. The choices are different every day and include choices like balloon sculpting, finger knitting, origami, Fantastic Magic Camp's own version of Dungeons and Dragons, face painting, improvisational comedy, clowning, and more magic, juggling, or puppets. We end most days with an exciting performance by a professional variety entertainer. We bring in some of the best magicians, jugglers, and ventriloquists in Texas to perform for our campers.
