Our Virginia Museum of Fine (VMFA) Girl Action Team allows participants to explore the vibrant and creative world of art. This year participants are putting themselves in the artist's seat with Coach Nickey and Sistah Austin Miles. Girls will go on a journey of self-discovery through the eyes of women artists like Frida Kahlo and other women artists to find who they are behind who society paints them to be. This Girl Action Team will allow girls to create, explore, and journey through the museum in preparation for the new VMFA exhibit; Frida: Beyond The Myth.
