Overview

Spend a fun-filled week learning to sing your favorite songs from movies, Broadway musicals or tv shows! Campers are introduced to basic vocal techniques while learning fun songs and popular traditions. During the week campers will learn about using their voice as a musical instrument, how to prepare and present a solo, duet or small ensemble piece, and have lots of fun. The camp concludes on Friday with a performance for family and friends.

Additional Information

Most camps run from 9:30am-3:30pm. Campers may be dropped off as early as 9:15am and picked up no later than 3:45pm.

For full-day camps, please plan to bring a lunch. Music Works does not have food available for purchase. Please DO NOT include any peanut products in lunches! We suggest you pack two snacks in your child's lunch. A water bottle.

All camps will include some outside time, weather permitting, especially for lunch and snack times.

Most camps include a final performance for friends and family on Friday afternoon. You will receive information about the time of the performance by Wednesday of the camp week.

The maximum ratio of campers to adults is one adult for every 8 campers. Most camps the ratio will be closer to one adult for every 6 campers or less.

Music Works Northwest welcomes students of all abilities, including neurodivergent students, to our summer camps. Prior to registration, please let us know if your student needs special accommodation such staff with expertise in neurodiversity-inclusive practices so that we can plan to support them effectively.

At Music Works, we believe that music should be available to all members of our community, regardless of their age, skill levels, or economic status, which is why we're happy to offer tuition assistance to those who could otherwise not afford our summer programming.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your camp registration for a full credit or refund, minus a $50 processing fee, up through June 9, 2025. Cancellations received after June 9 will have a 50% non-refundable fee and a 50% credit on account for future use at Music Works Northwest.
