Overview

For over a decade, our equestrian day camps have introduced children as young as five to the joy and beauty of horses. Campers learn the basics of horsemanship, grooming, and riding in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Each camp session brings together groups of up to 20 children who share a common love for adventure and animals. From barn chores to team games and trail hikes, campers build lasting friendships, learn cooperation, and develop a strong sense of community and responsibility.

No two days are ever the same at Morning Side! Campers enjoy horseback riding, theory and horsemanship lessons, arts and crafts, outdoor games and swimming. Camps are offered for new and existing students of all skill levels.

Additional Information

Campers ride every single day, along with participating in hands‑on horsemanship activities such as grooming, tacking, and basic horse care.

Camp runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

What to bring:

• A packed lunch and water bottle
• Closed‑toe shoes or boots
• Comfortable riding clothes (long pants recommended)
• Swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen (every day)

Helmets are provided, or campers may bring their own ASTM‑approved helmet.
