Impact Arts offers In-School Workshops, Clinics, and Master Classes tailored to the needs of schools and classes. These workshops are conducted by an experienced artist/educator and are available for students in grades 3 and up. Sessions can range from 1 to 3 hours, offered as one-time workshops or multi-day sessions over the course of one or more weeks. Topics include Shakespeare (focusing on unlocking language, using text, shortcut methods, and physical storytelling), Musical Theatre (covering dance, transforming song into scene, acting the song, song & dance performance, ensemble work, and solo performance), Auditions (including college auditions 101, mock auditions, cold readings, and musical theatre dance calls), Truthful Acting (exploring Uta Hagen's Six Steps, Meisner Technique, and Text Dynamics), Costuming for Theatre (providing guidance on period silhouettes and costume shop organization), and Technical Theatre consultation. Impact Arts' team comes directly to your school to provide these educational experiences.
