Overview

The Paintbrush, a one-of-a-kind ART studio located in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, offers creative skill-building experiences for kids ages 1 to 12. Our ART classes are rooted in hands-on ARTist-inspired lessons, introducing young ARTists to the lives and works of influential ARTists from around the world — both past and present. In addition to learning about iconic figures in the ART world, students also develop their ARTistic skills through specialized classes in: Drawing, Painting, Cartooning & more. The mission of The Paintbrush is to introduce young children to the wonderful world of art. The goal is to teach kids to love art and have an understanding of the artists they study and whose works inspire their own creations. Music — from classical to modern — plays in important part in The Paintbrush classes and workshops.

Additional Information

Intro to Drawing& Painting is for ages 5-8, from 4:45-5:45. All classes are prorated after the first day of the session to allow students to join anytime during the session. The Paintbrush offers a selection of classes geared to different ages along with workshops and summer camp. Classes are ongoing, so kids can join anytime.
