Overview

Joyful Strings Studio is a violin and viola teaching studio based in Fairfax, Virginia, offering private weekly lessons rooted in the Suzuki method. Instruction is available for students ages five through adult. Pedagogy‑trained instructors guide students through structured, goal‑oriented lessons designed to build confidence, technique, and a lasting love of music. The studio hosts semi‑annual recitals where students perform for family and the broader studio community.

Lesson Structure

Lessons are offered in three durations, each scheduled once per week on a recurring basis:

• 30‑minute lesson
• 45‑minute lesson
• 60‑minute lesson

Enrollment is month‑to‑month, billed on a 4‑week cycle covering four weekly lessons per month.

• Monday through Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pricing

Tuition is processed via auto‑pay at the beginning of each 4‑week cycle.

Additional Information

• A minimum 24‑hour cancellation notice is required to qualify for a make‑up lesson.
• Banked make‑up lessons expire at the start of each new school year.
• The studio is located in a residential neighborhood; dedicated and street parking are available on‑site.
