Overview

Joyful Strings Studio is a violin and viola teaching studio based in Fairfax, Virginia, offering private weekly lessons rooted in the Suzuki method. Instruction is available for students ages five through adult. Pedagogy-trained instructors guide students through structured, goal-oriented lessons designed to build confidence, technique, and a lasting love of music. The studio hosts semi-annual recitals where students perform for family and the broader studio community.

Lesson Structure

Lessons are offered in three durations, each scheduled once per week on a recurring basis:

• 30-minute lesson
• 45-minute lesson
• 60-minute lesson

Enrollment is month-to-month, billed on a 4-week cycle covering four weekly lessons per month.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pricing

Tuition is processed via auto-pay at the beginning of each 4-week cycle.

Additional Information

• A minimum 24-hour cancellation notice is required to qualify for a make-up lesson.
• Banked make-up lessons expire at the start of each new school year.
• The studio is located in a residential neighborhood; dedicated and street parking are available on-site.
