Each summer, Kids Playing Camp takes 175 campers per session who are entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall of 2025. Campers come from over 19 schools throughout the Chicagoland area as well as around the country to spend the summer. The camp's goal is that through SPORTS, CREATIVE ARTS, ADVENTURE EDUCATION, and TEAM BUILDING, campers will experience a summer filled with LAUGHTER, FUN, FRIENDSHIP, and MEMORIES. While having fun is always front and center, so is helping kids develop a sense of confidence. Through various hands-on sports and leadership activities, kids learn how to respect themselves and each other. Kids Playing Camp puts the focus on FUN through sportsmanship, cooperation, and understanding diversity. Kids LAUGH. They LEARN. They have a great time. And, in the process, they GROW. Campers in the K-5th Program are divided into grade appropriate groups with activities that focus on their emotional, social, and physical growth. Activities offered include Arts & Crafts, Baseball, Basketball, Board Games, Climbing Wall, Cookouts, Cooperative Games, Dance, Disc Golf, Dodgeball, Floor Hockey, Gaga, H20 Fun, Jewelry/Leather/Beading, Kickball, Land Sports, Musical Guests, Nature, Nine Squared, Obstacle Adventure Course, "Out of the Box", Soccer, Sportball, and Tetherball.
