Overview

Kathak Beginner is a foundational Indian classical dance program offered by Jhanak Dance Academy. Designed for children ages 5–12 who are new to Kathak, the program focuses on building strong technique, rhythm, expression, and confidence through engaging weekly classes.

Classes are held at two studio locations:

• Ashburn Studio: Sunday, 10:15 – 11:10 AM
• Herndon Studio: Monday, 5:30 – 6:30 PM

Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students learn classical footwork, hand movements, and storytelling elements of Kathak in a supportive environment that encourages growth and creativity.
