Kids Playing Camp is a summer camp held at Northeastern Illinois University, offering state-of-the-art facilities for a variety of activities. Campers have access to two gymnasiums, racquetball courts, dance studios, classrooms, an Olympic-size pool, and acres of outdoor play space including shady trees, tennis courts, baseball/softball diamonds, soccer fields, and a giant field for running and playing. Activities include sports, fitness, capture the flag, NEIU supervised wall climbing and traverse wall. The indoor Olympic-size pool is divided for beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmers, with NEIU lifeguards and Kids Playing Camp staff on duty. Campers have pool access 5 days a week, with swim proficiency tests administered.
