Kids Playing Camp is a day camp with a grown-up difference, where adults (coaches, teachers, mothers, and college students) supervise kids with a 1 to 6 adult-to-child ratio. This ensures one-on-one attention for children's development. The camp takes place at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), offering state-of-the-art facilities including two gymnasiums, racquetball courts, dance studios, classrooms, and acres of outdoor play space with shady trees, tennis courts, and baseball/softball diamonds. Campers come from over 19 different schools across Chicago and surrounding suburbs, representing economic, racial, and cultural diversity. The camp's goal is to inform and educate campers on differences in a compassionate and informative way, fostering authenticity through its diverse staff, campers, and families.
