Join Kidz Club at Pilsen Music, a dynamic music foundations program for kids ages 3‑7 in Chicago. Our fun, interactive classes introduce young children to the basics of rhythm, melody, and musical expression. These classes have a piano focus and are designed to get kids started in music in a way that is fun, educational, and gets them engaging with other kids their age. This class takes place in our piano lab and teaches music concepts such as melody, dynamics, songs, notes, and rhythm. It is expertly taught by our teacher and youth specialist, Kara Schultz. The class is specifically designed to engage pre‑reading kids and aims to get them engaged, musically curious, and teach them the fundamentals of music that will prime them for a life of playing, enjoying, and succeeding at music. Learning music with peers is emphasized, creating a fun learning environment where kids will not only learn musical concepts but also socialize, behave in a group setting, and learn to respect themselves, others, and musical instruments. Parents are welcome to observe and chaperone.
