Overview

Level 1 - Leader (Intro to WCS) is a beginner-friendly, three-week series that introduces leaders to the fundamentals of West Coast Swing. Students learn essential patterns such as Closed-to-Open transitions, Starter Step, Basket Whips, Sugar Push variations and more, all while developing confidence, musicality, and partner connection. No prior dance experience or partner is required, making this class an accessible entry point for anyone interested in learning West Coast Swing.

Additional Information

• Classes meet on Thursdays at 7:00 pm and run for three consecutive weeks (45-minute sessions). • Held at Deni Danzco Studio, 3408 Annandale Rd, Falls Church, VA. • Partners are rotated during class; students may make up missed classes with a lower-level lesson running during the same series. • Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the series begins.
