Keep your child engaged and practicing essential skills with our best STEAM Summer Camp yet! Since students in K-2 are naturally curious about the world, we build on that curiosity through hands-on learning, all while continuing to enhance their reading, writing, & math skills. We believe that Art is just as important as the other academic disciplines, especially for young students. While experimenting with various materials, art helps improve fine motor skills and boosts self-confidence! Students will also have the chance to strengthen their fine motor and socioemotional skills as well as build strong student-teacher and student-peer relationships. We don't just teach STEAM, we DO STEAM! Students will learn about the given STEAM theme at large and approach it from various perspectives. Students will have plenty of movement and brain breaks (dance, yoga, meditation, stretching, etc.) throughout the day to keep their bodies moving and gears grinding. For your convenience, early drop-off will be available as early as 7:00 am and late pick-up will be available as late as 6:00 pm. Each day, students will eat lunch with their fellow campers and then head over to the nearby park (weather-permitting) for some fun in the sun (it is a STEAM camp after all!) Otherwise, students will participate in various indoor activities of their choice. Students must bring own bagged lunch; water is provided. Fridays just got cheesier! Each week, we treat our campers to a pizza party to celebrate their hard work and the week's adventures. It's a chance to kick back, share laughs with friends, and savor everyone's favorite meal!
