Loudoun County has launched the Child Care Fee Reduction program, managed by Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS), intended to make high quality child care more affordable to Loudoun families.

Additional Information

The Child Care Fee Reduction program will help fund child care costs for young children up through age 13 by providing up to 50 percent of the cost for qualifying families. The fee reduction is applicable to any licensed child care provider, including in-home providers and daycare centers.

NVFS, as program administrator, will enroll qualifying families and child care providers. NVFS will disburse funds directly to child care providers according to their payment schedule for up to two years. Funds will be available until October 2026, or until all funds are expended.
