About This Camp
Overview
McLean Youth Soccer (MYS) — Virginia's premier soccer program — offers extensive half‑day and full‑day summer soccer camps for players of all levels, from recreational to elite, across the weeks of June 22 through August 21 at turf fields in the McLean area. Open to all youth ages 7–14 (birth years 2012–2020), campers do not need to be MYS members to attend. Each week is packed with engaging daily themes, skill‑of‑the‑day instruction, competitive daily challenges with prizes, and fun t‑shirt theme days. Training covers foundational and advanced soccer skills including dribbling, ball control, turning, shooting, passing, shielding, and tactical principles of team play. MYS camp counselors are trained to provide a safe, challenging, and fun environment focused on meaningful player development.
