In addition to bringing our workshop programs on the road to visit schools and community sites -- we have two incredible mobile programs that we offer. Our "Whale on Wheels" program brings our real gray whale skeleton, Gracie, to school sites to guide discussions in evolution, marine life, sustainability, and comparative anatomy. Afterwards, students actually get to assemble Gracie's skeleton like a giant puzzle! Our "Giant Blood Vessel" program brings our school-bus-sized arterial model exhibit -- where students can actually walk inside a blood vessel complete with platelets, white blood cells, and more. Students participate in hands-on activities to learn about their own biology like losing and finding their veins under blue light, viewing blood vessels under the microscope, and participating in cellular scavenger hunts!
