Overview

Morning Star Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial arts program that emphasizes self-discipline, internal growth, and family-friendly instruction. Classes are held in Falls Church on Monday and Wednesday evenings (6:00 – 7:30 pm) under the guidance of Christopher Stancliff, 4th Dan Chief Instructor.

Founded in 1993, the school was originally established by Mr. John Celli to spread the art of Tang Soo Do and its five codes of conduct: Loyalty to Country, Obedience to Parents, Honor, Friendship, and No Retreat in Battle. Despite early challenges—including the loss of its founder—the studio has continued to thrive, offering small class sizes and a safe environment for students. Training builds self-confidence, physical fitness, stress management skills, and effective self-defense techniques for children and adults alike.
