Overview

Bonjour Language Camps are premier language immersion summer camps for active kids. Campers age 3.5 to 11 are immersed in the Mandarin language, outdoor experiences, and loads of summer fun! We focus on building confidence, friendships, and language skills through fun and engaging activities linked to our weekly themes. Children do not need to have exposure to the language to attend – our campers range from beginners to fully bilingual.

Additional Information

Camp runs for 11 weeks, and campers can sign up for any number of weeks (including non-consecutive weeks)! Our activities are theme-based, so each week is a new adventure and has a different, fun and engaging trip and set of activities.

Camp hours are 9am–4:30pm. Extended hours available at an additional cost: Early drop-off from 8–8:30am and late pickup from 4:30–6 pm.

• Downtown Brooklyn: TBA
• Upper West Side : French and Spanish only as of Jan 2025. This location is TBA for Mandarin.

Bonjour Language Camps operates a nine-week summer season, as well as a week of pre-camp staff training and orientation in late June.

About our Staff

We look for staff who are fluent in French/Spanish/Mandarin and have strong skills in a teaching area, plus a GENUINE interest in working with children. We hire staff who come to camp to "give of themselves" to campers. Our staff also have the necessary levels of maturity, common sense, dependability, trust, and selflessness required in working with children. We have high expectations and requirements for behavior. All program staff are activity instructors or assistants.

All camp activities are conducted in the target language.

Campers attend camp during the day and go home at night.

During their time with us, we also want all campers to become more self-assured and self-confident. All of this takes place in a great camp atmosphere with a diverse and unique program.
