Open Clay Studio is available for Mobile Museum of Art members only. Registration required, this is not a drop in opportunity Membership includes use of the studio for 3 hours per Open Studio session, covers 2 pounds of clay per session, paint – on glazes and kiln firings, and storage for your unfinished work. The Open Clay Studio Manager will be on hand for any questions, concerns you may have regarding your projects. *Additional clay can be purchased for $5 per pound before or during open studio hours. Available equipment: 10 hand building spaces, 8 pottery wheels (prior experience required, first come first served), slab roller, clay extruder, various texture tools, stamps and more. Registration is non-refundable, if you would like to cancel your session a 48 HR notice is required. Reservations must be made 24 HOURS in advance to reserve a spot.
