Overview

Patriot Elite Wrestling Club (PEWC) is an elite-level wrestling training program based at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Led by GMU Head Wrestling Coach Frank Beasley and former All-American Peter Pappas, the club serves as a Regional Training Center (RTC) dedicated to developing wrestlers with national and international aspirations. The program supports athletes from the youth level through post-collegiate competition, providing high-level coaching, structured training, and competitive opportunities throughout the year. Participants must hold a current USA Wrestling membership card and meet RTC qualifications before attending, as space is limited.

Additional Information

The club hosts several signature events including the annual A Better Way Athletics Patriot Open tournament, held at the GMU Field House on December 6, 2026. The PEWC also hosts an annual Casino Night fundraiser to support athlete development. All donations go directly toward the growth and operations of the club and RTC. The program operates year-round with practices held at the George Mason University Field House.
