The coaching. Managed by our full time coaching staff, each week of camp is designed to foster competition, skill development, and of course, tons of fun. If your child loves sports, PPA's Summer Camp is the place to be. PPA summer camp is proud to partner with our local DC professional sports franchises including he Washington Spirit and DC United. PPA is the official camp partner for the Washington Spirit and a member of the DC United Academy P2P program. This summer were launching themes for each week of camp to give PPA campers an even better sports experience. For example, we've got an Olympic theme and an NCAA Madness theme on deck, and some weeks with trips to the Pool. At our Day Camps at GDS, we offer a nutritious, athlete-focused cafeteria lunch option, freeing parents from the daily task of meal prep. Additionally, we provide a daily aftercare option from 3:00 to 5:30 pm for parents needing flexible scheduling. Summer Programming = Day Camps & Evening Camps Day Camps (Ages 6 - 13): Open to players of all levels, a mix of technical training, team competitions, water fun, and awards. Each week provides a different theme, but the fundamental structure is consistent; players are organized into teams, guided by both professional PPA coaches and PPA player alumni CITs, to participate in camp activities, sport training, games, and competitions. Evening Camps (Ages 7 - 18): Focused on advanced competition, these camps run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Players are grouped by age and skill for targeted skill development, followed by team competitions and match play.
