Our music classes are designed to instill a lifelong passion for music. All of our teachers play multiple instruments, so they know how to introduce them to their students and engage their natural enthusiasm. Infants (15-minute lessons) are introduced to new sounds and rhythms through singing songs, encouraging fine motor skills and building core strength. One-year-olds (20-minute lessons) continue developing fine and gross motor skills through walking and dancing songs, participating in rhythmic songs, and beginning to recognize and recall songs. Two-year-olds (30-minute lessons) learn new concepts through songs, continue developing motor skills, sing ABCs, songs about colors or weather, and are introduced to new instruments. Three-to five-year-olds (30-minute lessons) are introduced to additional instruments like rhythm sticks, triangles, and maracas, using them to develop understanding of tempo, dynamics, and rhythm, and learn new songs from around the world. All instruments and materials are provided by RISE Education instructors.
