Project 2018.2: Brawn and Bread
A cross between a bakery and an outdoor gym that celebrates the ancient art of bread making. Campers employed masonry, metalwork, fermentation, shou sugi ban (a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation) and more. After construction, campers made bread by hauling grain, milling it, kneading and chopping wood for the oven.
