Overview

Rising Stars Day School Summer Camp is a nature-based program in Herndon, VA for children ages 3–8. Rooted in a Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy, the camp encourages children to explore, create, and learn at their own pace. Each week features a distinct themed curriculum woven into crafts and activities, with campers spending most of the day outdoors. Weekly highlights include a water day, nature walk, and picnic. The program fosters independence, confidence, creativity, and a love of learning in a safe and encouraging environment.

• Week 5 (July 20–24): Going Green / Trash to Treasure
• Week 6 (July 27–31): Tiny Chefs
• Week 7 (August 3–7): Community Helpers
• Week 8 (August 10–14): Dress Up Week + Fashion Show

Pricing:

• Main hours (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM): $375/week
• Before Care (8:00 AM – 9:00 AM): $50/week
• After Care (4:00 PM – 5:30 PM): $80/week

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required and is applied to the last week of camp.
