Rocky River Ranch is a residential summer camp for girls in Texas, inspiring independent girls since 1953. The camp offers a perfect summer experience filled with new friendships, challenging activities, and lots of fun. Campers aged 5 to 14 engage in various activities including Horseback Riding, Adventure Challenge Activities, archery, riflery, swimming, canoeing, climbing, and rockclimbing. All cabins are air-conditioned bunkhouses, with placements determined by age and grade, and a high staff-to-camper ratio. The camp fee covers room, board, laundry (during Sessions 2 & 5), and camp activities. Meals are provided, with options for special diets like vegetarian, lactose-free, or gluten-free, and include breakfast, lunch, and dinner served family-style or with friends. The camp emphasizes health and safety with a well-equipped wellness center and trained staff. It is not religiously affiliated but includes traditional grace before meals and The Lord's Prayer in Friendship Circle, respecting all backgrounds.
