Rocky River Ranch offers a residential summer camp program designed to develop great qualities in young ladies, such as confidence, critical thinking, teamwork, collaboration, respect, responsibility, and communication. Campers choose four class periods each day, focusing on activities they want to concentrate on for the week. The program encourages campers to plan their own creative endeavors. Sessions are available for one or two weeks, with two-week campers encouraged to choose different classes for the second week. Activities are closely supervised by Counselors and Instructors. The camp offers a wide variety of classes including active games (Ga-Ga, 9-Square), service-oriented projects (Actions to Beautify Camp), various arts and crafts (friendship bracelets, 3D sculpture, jewelry making, knitting, crocheting, miniatures, mixed media art, nature crafts, painting, junk journals, western crafts), culinary arts (baking, no-bake recipes), performing arts (dance, drama, skits, accents, improv, stagecraft, synchronized swimming, ukulele), STEM (Full STEAM Ahead!, Brainiacs, Brick Masters, Videography), nature exploration (Farm Animal Fun, Nature Explorers, River Fun), and a wide range of sports and adventure activities (archery, climbing wall, rappelling, diving, horseback riding, kayaking, paddle boarding, log rolling, fishing, giant swing, crate stacking, various sports like basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer, kickball, sprinkler sports, ninja course). Additionally, the camp offers health and wellness activities like Stretch and Flex (yoga) and Water Aerobics, and unique experiences like becoming a camp reporter (Rocky River Roundup).
