During this Slingerland® class, students learn and practice oral language skills, penmanship, sound-symbol correspondence, spelling, written expression, decoding, and reading comprehension strategies. It includes recess. The class is first focused on writing and after recess is focused on reading strategies. This Slingerland® class is for students entering grades 1-8. Each class will include up to 15 students entering the same grade in the fall.
