Built upon the Waldorf understanding of child development, Camp Summer Garden is a nurturing environment that allows the imagination to unfold for children ages 3.5 to 5. Our camp is led by Waldorf graduates who are enthusiastic for all the fun that summer may bring. Nestled in the beautiful hill country of southwest Texas, our 30+ acre campus becomes a place to explore and experience the wonder of childhood. We spend much of our day outside on a well-shaded playground equipped with a wading pool, sandbox, water source, climbing tree, wooden boat, jump ropes, and lots of room to run around. Activities include swimming, crafts, circle games, and story time. Within the rhythm of our day, time for snack, lunch, and nap are included. Children bring their lunches from home.
