JCYS Wicker Park starts the summer camp experience early with Sunflower Day Camp! Our youngest campers enjoy classic summer fun with experienced early childhood staff members who give each child individualized attention and care. In a typical day at Sunflower Camp, campers might take a walk around the neighborhood, create a finger paint masterpiece, learn a new song in circle time, and splash around in our two dedicated play spaces onsite to cool off with friends. Sunflower Day Camp at JCYS Wicker Park highlights different theme weeks that deepen learning enrichment, making each week unique and special. For example, during Color Week, we learn about all the colors of the rainbow, and during Food Week, campers can explore a variety of foods. Each day features special themed activities like art projects and sing-alongs, along with classic summer camp activities.
